The Mississippi Rural Health Association is dedicated toward prevention of tobacco and vaping utilization among Mississippians.
To accomplish this, the association has partnered with the Mississippi State Department of Health, Office of Tobacco Control, to deliver education and training among Mississippi’s healthcare facilities. This training helps providers to better understand the tools available to them for identification and treating of patients that are utilizing nicotine products.
In addition, the association distributes resources to facilities in order to promote patient education for tobacco and vaping elimination.
