The Mississippi Rural Health Association’s ‘Quality Assurance Task Force’ is a specialized ad-hoc group of professionals representing:
Mississippi State Department of Health
State of Mississippi, Office of the Governor
State of Mississippi, Division of Medicaid
MRHA Representatives: North Mississippi Medical Center (North), Rush Health Systems (Central), and Children’s International Medical Group (South)
This task force is designed to align key stakeholders in Medicaid Managed Care and to ensure that quality metrics are sought along with an environment of partnership and collaboration. The goals of the task force are to:
- Field questions and concerns from MRHA members and have them addressed in a timely manner by MCOs
- Understand and translate important news, updates, and education to MRHA members
- Provide a forum for increased collaboration and partnership around Mississippi Medicaid
- Better channel resources and strategy around ways to increase positive patient outcomes while creating efficiencies within provider groups and health facilities
Membership in the Quality Assurance Task Force is by invitation-only.
