One of the top areas of focus for the Mississippi Rural Health Association is the strengthening of hospital administration and governing boards. This follows the suggestions of the Mississippi Rural Health Task Force for improvement of the state’s healthcare system.
This project coordinates facilitated training of select Mississippi hospitals along with a nationally-recognized rural health leadership professional, Dr. Bill Auxier. Trainings are currently held in virtual-format, lasting 1.5 hours over a 6-week period of time.
